The gallery painter, Tomasa Martin has won the Juan Ramon Masoliver 15th Edition Prize 2008, with the work titled "Atrapador".

	The gallery painter, Tomasa Martin has won the Juan Ramon Masoliver 15th Edition Prize 2008 - held in Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona)-, with the work titled "Atrapador". The winning work represents, the societies submission to established rules. The jury, was presided by the major of this city -Mr. César Arrizabalaga-, and formed by the art critics Josep M. Cadena, José Corredor Matheos, Ramón Casalé, Conxita Oliver and Alex Mitrani. Manel Doblas, painter of the gallery, has received a Honour Mention with the work he presented.

NEW BOOK & GROUP SHOW FIGURACIÓ 2008 - 2009June 2008



	Last june 12th, the new book & exhibition Figuració 2008-2009 was presented. This one will be the ninth edition of the Figuració collection since the first book was published in 1991. This time the works of 21 artists -domestic and international- will be shown. Within the new artists presented, we'd like to introduce to you Brad Harms from Canada who works with precious crystals on aluminium tondos, Fátima Aboul with renovated figurative works, Angela Icart and her big formats always elegant, powerful and colorful, Carmen Magem with her urban musicians, the young and delicate artist Gemma Masriera will present her exotic landscapes, and Paco Morales his "Giacometti" influence sculptures. The show can be visited until july the 31st and from the 1st to 30th september 2008.
